Thank you for praying

James 5:13 Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise.

I am up this morning ready to serve my Abba, my King, my Savior, by nothing more than His grace and the prayers of His saints. Thank you, my brothers and sisters who encouraged and prayed for me through this illness. While I am still recovering, my soul is refreshed and my hope renewed.

This morning, do not forsake the fellowship you have been blessed with. You have a family of believers waiting to see you at the doorstep of your church or fellowship. They are ready to great you and are pleased to see you. Do you need prayer? Ask! Are you blessed? Praise Him! But whatever you do, do not hold yourself captive by self inflicted isolation. Break free! For the victory has already been won in Christ Jesus!

James 5:15 And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

About athenammorris

Wife, mother, step-mother, and grandmother. I first came to the Lord in 1986. However, I backslid for a few years and rededicated my life to the Lord in 1990. Since then, my road through sanctification has been long and hard; mostly the result of my own rebellion. However in 2011, I finally I completely surrendered to His will and not my own and began to experience spiritual growth. My hope for this blog; people will be encouraged in their daily walk with the Lord. I'm a normal-joe-Christian just like every other Christian; struggling with the flesh, enduring trials, living life all with the intent of glorify and pleasing God. View all posts by athenammorris
