Colossians 2:6–7 Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.
Every day, we “walk;” literally we “move” through our daily lives. We wake, we prepare, we work, we play, and so on. But now, as Christians, it is no longer the same. While our lives outwardly continue in the day-to-day routine, we now live for an eternal purpose. We, who call Him Lord and Savior, live a distinctly new life in spirit and not our flesh. Our daily “walking” should be a testimony of the life-changing power of the Holy Spirit. Today, as you move through your day, tune your conscience in toward Him giving Him thanks and praise. Be a living Gospel in a world that desperately needs to hear and see the love of God practically lived out in the lives of His children.
Romans 6:4 We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.
